U2U Super Shoe Cleaning Smart Locker User Notice

To ensure users’ right to be informed before use, please read this Agreement carefully and confirm your agreement before using any U2U services or placing an order. Once you make a purchase, payment, or use the service, you will be deemed to have read, understood, and fully agreed to accept the entire terms of this Agreement and agree to be bound by it.

  1. Coatings, prints, and patterns on various types of shoes may peel or become untied during cleaning. Metal items may experience paint loss and other issues.If you object, please do NOT using our service.
  2. Shoes with dark interiors and light exteriors may experience color transfer, blending, or matching after cleaning.If you object, please do NOT using our service.
  3. Shoes with fur or genuine leather surfaces may experience color transfer, uneven fur lengths, or color transfer, blending, or matching at multi-colored joints after cleaning. If you object, please do NOT using our service.
  4. Aniline leather, suede, nubuck, and other furs, and footwear made from them, may experience color variations and reversed velvet after cleaning, refinishing, and maintenance.If you object, please do NOT using our service.
  5. U2U rarely experiences cleaning accidents. If a cleaning accident occurs during the cleaning process due to human error, U2U will compensate you for the damage at a rate equal to three times the cleaning fee you paid (up to a maximum of HK$1,000) and return the item to you. If you object, please do NOT using our service.
  6. If you choose to clean high-end, luxury, or high-value shoes, please ensure you inform U2U Customer Service in advance of the actual value of the items being cleaned. U2U may consider customizing the cleaning plan and price based on the value you have reported. If you do not provide this information, and a cleaning incident occurs, U2U will compensate you for any damages in accordance with U2U compensation standards, at a maximum of HK$1,000, at the cost of three times the cleaning fee you paid. The items you actually cleaned will also be returned to you. If you object, please do NOT using our service.
  7. If the items you have cleaned appear damaged or appear damaged, we recommend that you do not place them in the U2U Smart Locker. If you insist on placing them in the locker, U2U will deem that you acknowledge and agree to the cleaning process, and that you will be responsible for any consequences. If you object, please do NOT using our service.
  8. After you place your cleaned items in the U2U Smart Locker, U2U will immediately photograph and archive the items. In the event of any dispute, the U2U-photographed image will prevail. This image represents the condition of the items in the locker at the time the user placed or placed the order. If you object, please do NOT using our service.
  9. When selecting the “Marking (if applicable)” labeling service, users are advised to first send the items they are cleaning and the “Marking (if applicable)” option they wish to select to U2U official customer service for confirmation.

U2U will assist users in analyzing and providing relevant value-added services. If users are unable to contact U2U but still select the “Marking (if applicable)” service, U2U will determine whether the service is applicable to the items they are cleaning. If not, U2U will refund the user the additional service fee.

  1. To ensure cleaning quality, U2U strictly adheres to standard cleaning, disinfection, and drying procedures. Normally, cleaning items are returned within 5-7 business days after being placed in the smart locker. (This timeframe is for reference only and is not a guaranteed timeframe.)

During the plum rain season, windy days, or extended rainy periods, we will dehumidify and dehumidify your cleaning items free of charge to prevent mold growth. However, this may cause your cleaning iteams to exceed the normal timeframe. If you would like to receive your cleaning iteams sooner or as quickly as possible, we recommend selecting expedited cleaning as part of our additional service.

U2U will prioritize orders with expedited cleaning. If your order exceeds the promised expedited timeframe, U2U will fully refund the expedited cleaning fee and provide a coupon as compensation. If you object, please do NOT using our service.

Why are some users charged a price difference when retrieving their items?

  1. Our company defines “luxury shoes, high-priced items, and limited edition shoes” as shoes with an original selling price of HKD$3,000 or more. To clean shoes priced above this, users must select the “luxury shoes, high-priced items, and limited edition shoes” option. If this option is not selected, the price difference will be charged when placing an order.
  2. The charge may be an overtime fee: Users must promptly retrieve their items from the store where they placed the order after receiving the pickup notification (SMS or WhatsApp). After delivery to the smart locker, the free storage period is 48 hours. After this period, an overtime fee of HKD$3 per day will be charged.
  3. Charges may be for compensation: Users may have incorrectly selected a price during self-service (for example, selecting a specific material cleaning price, but then placing an order and inserting a shoe type that is not suitable for that material). U2U will analyze the items you have placed and apply the appropriate service price based on U2U pricing. Any compensation or surcharges will be collected at the smart locker upon pickup.
  4. Charges may be for compensation: Users may have obtained U2U services through improper means.
